Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Skultorp, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and safe during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your duties will include:

• Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room
• Conducting both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as some emergency dental care
• Being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics

We are a clinical training facility and accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervising/assisting students may also be part of the position.

Qualifications and profile

• Licensed dentist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Proficiency in Swedish equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to convey a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 5-6.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to provide supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.
